Dear Client,
We would like to inform you that, in the context of our harmonization with the European Council's Personal Data Protection Regulation (EU) with No 2016/679 dated from 27 April 2016 regarding "the protection of personal data and the free movement of such data", or any other national or European legislation applicable which will amend or replace or interpret the above, the information we collect and maintain are related to the provision of legal services, assigned to us by written or other mandate.
The information and the data we collect / have collected from you or your authorized representatives or third parties on your behalf and upon authorization, and we maintain according to your mandate, we process them personally and in cooperation with our associate lawyers, exclusively for the provision of our legal services to you. We will use/maintain/disclose your information only for this purpose or if we have another legal ground for using it. These grounds include cases such as:
- it is necessary to establish, exercise or support our legal interests,
- it is necessary for the execution of the legal work assigned
- It is necessary to comply with a legal obligation and/or regulation
We take and apply all the necessary legal and technical means regarding the confidentiality of your data and information and so as to prevent their leakage, loss, destruction or damage in any way.
We will use your information in order to fulfill our compliance obligations, to comply with other laws and regulations and to share them with regulatory authorities and other authorities, only if we have a public or legal duty to do so. We will proceed to such actions only if it is necessary in order to comply with a legal obligation or in order to support our own interests.
We can share your information with others for these purposes, including law enforcement authorities, public government authorities, courts, dispute resolution bodies, our supervisory and regulatory authorities, our auditors, and with each party that has been appointed by our supervisory and regulatory authorities to conduct investigations or audits regarding our activities.
Your data is maintained for 5 years (or in accordance with the applicable law) since your last meeting with the Attorney or the last legal action / service, upon completion of which there will be deletion and destruction of your data, in case it is required for reasons of sound data management, at our absolute discretion.
We inform you that you have the right to access your data at any time and to correct it (only from a demographic aspect) if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You also have the right to receive and transmit your personal data to another Attorney.More specifically you have the right to request from us to send your data via fax or via e-mail to a person (s), that you indicate to us appropriately in written. You also have the right to request from us to send you a copy of your data in an electronic (USB flash/CD) or printed form.
You have the right to revoke at any time the consensus provided to us, to request to deliver to you or to delete the data and the files we maintain, by submitting a proper application to the email address: info@companylaw.gr. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the relevant supervisory authority.However, we may continue to process your data,if we have another legitimate reason to do so or if we are entitled or required to maintain it by the applicable legislation.
Wherever we mention "you" into the present, we refer to you, any other person authorized by you, any person who communicates with us on your behalf (e.g. administrators or executors, proxy attorneys) and to any other related person, (including authorized signatories, members/shareholders, managers and administrators.
In the case you wish to amend the contact details or the address indicated or notified or communicated to us, you have to provide a written notification.
The Principal is obliged to send the data that may be occasionally required for the completion of this Mandate , solely at the address of the Attorneys, 24 Dimokritou str., 106 73 Athens, at the e-mail addresses of the Attorney's Office: , as well as the e-mail address of the Associate Lawyer who handles your case wholly or partially and to whom your email is addressed to, if and only if such address is defined by the domain " @ companylaw.gr ".
